The article considers the importance of teaching motivation for older preschoolers, describes the prerequisites for successful learning at school. The readiness of children to study at school is one of the most important problems in psychology and pedagogy. The readiness of children for school education is the result of all educational and educational work with children, which is carried out in the preschool institution and the family throughout preschool childhood.
